Exhibits:
Virtual Exhibits will begin Thursday, October 17. There will be a group of exhibitors who have “Blind Owned” businesses who will give us snapshots of what their business sells, and possibly a look at their journey to the creation of that business.
Some exhibitors will have longer presentations than this brief snapshot. You will have the opportunity to interact with many of the exhibitors VIA Zoom.
Be sure to consult the final schedule for the start time and lineup when you receive your program.
When we are not streaming conference programming, you will hear the recorded exhibits on ACB Media Eight.
There is still time left to become an exhibitor or sponsor for the 2024 PCB Conference. Check out pcb1.org/2024exhibitoptions for all the opportunities we have to offer.
Conference Program:
The program is available in several alternate formats. If we receive your registration by September 30, we will postal-mail Braille, large print, or thumb drive audio programs. After the 30th, programs will only be available electronically through email, our website, and the PCB Information Line (773-572-6314).
Inside the program you will find: Zoom connection information, conference schedule, list of exhibitors, paid announcements, list of sponsors and contributors, and community shout-outs.
The program goes to the printer by the middle of Sept., so please submit program information before that time such as community shout-outs and paid text-based ads for chapters and businesses.
Purchase ads from pcb1.org/2024exhibitform or call 877-617-7407 Ext. 800.
Door Prizes:
Everyone registered for the conference will be eligible to win a door prize.
Winners must claim their door prize within a few minutes of their name being called. Those instructions will be in the program and available at the drawings.
Prizes will be mailed to the winners after the conference.
Listening to ACB Media Network:
You can tune into the broadcast of the virtual exhibits and other portions of the conference on the ACB Media Network when you need a break from Zoom.
Stream the audio on an internet-enabled device such as a computer or notetaker by visiting: acbmedia.org. We will be on ACB’s Media Eight channel.
Tell an Amazon Echo device, “Open ACB Media.” Once the speaker prompts you for a channel, you will respond with “Eight.” You first may need to “Enable the ACB Media skill.”
You can download the ACB Link app to your smartphone, choose the Streams tab, pick Media Eight from the list of channels, and tap the “Play” button.
Use the Internet Radio feature on a Victor Reader Stream or other similar device to access ACB Media.
If you cannot use any of these methods, try to listen on the telephone by calling 518-906-1820, and follow the prompts. You may have to call this number more than one time, and you may be directed to another number if there are many listeners using the service.
