Website Committee Seeks an Intern

Our committee has decided to seek outside assistance for the continued development of the website and the new design of website. Any assistance we can get in spreading around the below announcement to potential candidates would be most appreciated.

The Pennsylvania Council of the Blind is the leading advocacy organization for people with vision loss throughout Pennsylvania. We are seeking a Web Production Intern with an interest in all things web development, technology, and design, with an emphasis on universal design principles. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks, which include functionality changes, developing templates and updating content. This position is remote in nature. Communication will be mainly handled via email/phone calls.

Internship duration: 4, 8, 12, or 16 weeks (flexible start date)
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Strong Writing Skills

If you decide to pursue this opportunity as a credit-bearing internship, you will need to get approval from your academic department prior to the start of the academic semester in which you wish to register for the internship.
