No, not snowflakes, not whiskers on kittens. How about chocolates, nuts, dried fruits, enjoyable mixes, and much more! That’s what you’ll find if you go to the PCB TerriLynn webstore to treat yourself to some of your favorite things.
The TerriLynn fundraiser is on! And PCB is already making money, just because people enjoy yummy and, yes, healthy treats. As a side note to how awesome the treats are, PCB receives 20% of everything purchased. A list of all of the TerriLynn offerings along with a price list is at the back of this issue (see Appendix 2) and will also be included on the Announce Line.
Ordering is so simple, just go to:
Or if this link fails, to: https://pennsylvania-council-of-the-blind.terrilynn.com/
Or call them toll-free at:800-323-0775
What’s another of our favorite things? Well, certainly cash is one of my favorites. So, ok, have you purchased your calendar raffle tickets? Just think about all of your peers who won cash last year, I know I did! You can simply call Autumn, our lovely secretary, at (717) 920-9999 or (877) 617-7407, and she’ll get those tickets right out to you. As you know, the more tickets your chapter sells, the fatter your treasury will be at the conclusion of the contest.
As if that isn’t enough, participating in the MMS program will get you entered into a couple of different contests. If you enter now and through the end of the legislative seminar, which runs from March 11 through the 15th, you’ll be entered to win a daily gift card from Amazon for $25 and a grand prize of a $100 gift card. Not only that, if you either signed up for the MMS program with a monthly donation of $10 per month, or increased your donation by $5, anytime from the close of last year’s national conference until the conclusion of the 2022 conference, you’ll be entered to win a fabulous prize to be announced. In the past, ACB has given away a late model iPhone, a smart TV, and a Victor Reader Stream.
Now, for something you can do for the Fund Development team that will ultimately help all of us. Last year we had the best ever auction and we thought it could only get better if you tell us what kinds of items you’d like to see on the auction block. In past years we’ve had kitchen gadgets, jewelry, electronics, accessible tech devices, home-baked goods, games, bath-and-body, and lots of gift cards. So, is there something here you’d like to see more of or is there something we haven’t thought of yet? Please be part of the team that makes this year’s auction even better than our best.
As always, if you have an idea for a new fundraiser, or a way to make our existing fund development opportunities better, please get in touch with Mary Ann Grignon at:
