The Conference Program and Planning Team worked hard this year to reformat a planned in-person Conference into a Virtual Conference. The result is impressive. We are stretching the events over parts of five days. As I write this article, we are working to present not one, but two audio-described movie soundtracks. We are also working on a described virtual tour of a Pennsylvania attraction.
We encourage all of you to register for the event. This year you will not incur transportation, hotel, and food costs. And the all-in-one registration fee of $20 gives you access to all conference activities.
The Conference will be preceded on Wednesday, October 21 with the PCB Board of Directors Meeting. The Conference will open that evening with a welcoming greeting from our President, Chriss Hunsinger. Throughout the next days, we will bring you general session programming and break-out sessions.
ACB Radio and Zoom will carry conference events. We will have toll-free telephone lines for conference registrants without unlimited long-distance plans.
The fund Development Team has sent out requests for auction items. Auction donations should be sent to our office at 931 N. Front Street, Suite B, Harrisburg, PA 17102. The auction begins at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 25.
Exhibitor announcements will be aired on ACB Radio when Conference programming is not being broadcasts. Tune in to the Live Event stream to find exhibit and program content.
This is the last time I will coordinate the PCB Conference and Convention. I want to thank all of you who have supported the Planning Team’s past efforts. I hope you will sign up for this year’s conference.
