The Philadelphia Museum of Art has launched a new program allowing individuals who are blind or visually impaired to more fully enjoy the exhibits. Patrons wear cloth gloves to protect the art from skin oil damage. As they tactually examine a piece, a guide describes it. Nearly every statue and sculpture in the Rodin Museum can be explored tactually. These special arrangements must be schedule prior to a visit by calling 215-763-8100.
