News from Capital City Chapter

By Cathy Long, Immediate Past President

First, longtime PCB members Joe and Leona Perry have moved out of their apartment and into a home with two of their daughters. They have four grown children: three daughters and a son. Two of the daughters sold their homes and are now sharing a home with Joe and Leona. Right now, though, Joe is in a nursing home where he is undergoing physical therapy for a broken hip. Hopefully, he will soon come home. Joe and Leona’s other daughter is married with children, and their son lives in western PA.

Cathy Long also moved to bigger digs that she and the bank own. Her phone number remains the same. She is living in Enola, PA. Remember it this way: it spells “Alone” backwards. It is a pleasant, quiet neighborhood. Pepe, her cat, likes to watch outside activities from the front window.

The mother of Sandra Marsiglia is not well. Much of Sandy’s time is spent helping her mom. Because of this, she will be unable to attend the convention.

We are getting excited for the 2014 convention in Johnstown and looking forward to seeing all who attend.

This year we lost three members to death. We miss them terribly.
