Come one, come all, to the 7th annual PCB Live Auction held on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. Attending the auction is a great way to meet members, enjoy snacks and a delicious cocktail or beverage from the cash bar. Don’t forget to arrive early to survey the auction preview which will begin at 7:30 p.m. All prizes up for bid will be available for everyone to browse.
And now, here’s a gentle reminder to please submit notice of auction prizes to the fundraising team no later than Friday, October 10. When submitting a prize, include the following information: The name of the prize, a brief description, and the value. Prizes may be dropped off at the PCB used media table in the exhibit hall on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The Fundraising Team is also in search of items for the PCB Used Media Sale.
Would you like to live a clutter-free life? Start now and donate unwanted audio books, DVDs and CDs to the used media sale.
Items can be dropped off at the PCB table on Friday at 10:00 a.m. or any time during exhibit hours. Prior to bringing your items, if you have access to braille or know someone who does, please label the media. Include the title, author, and/or artist.
Visit the PCB table in the exhibit hall and say hello. You will find a variety of used media along, with other items such as the “True No Measure Cookbook” and streak-less cleaning cloths.
Another popular item for purchase at the PCB table will be the PCB 16 oz. insulated travel mug. The mug contains a slide lid for easy sipping and less mess, along with a grip handle. The mug is blue and displays the PCB vintage logo in white and includes the PCB website address. The price is $8.00 for one, or two for $15.00. Members who will not be at this year’s convention can purchase the PCB insulated mug through the PCB office. For more information on how you can order your mug, contact Rita Lang at email@example.com or 610-841-2832.
Start your holiday shopping early. Stop by the vendor consultant corner in the exhibit hall. We have invited consultants from Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Thirty-One Gifts, and Tastefully Simple to participate with on-hand products to purchase. Each consultant will donate a portion of its sales to PCB.
PCB members sold 816 raffle tickets, making this year’s calendar raffle the most profitable one yet. Don’t miss the committee’s convention report to learn which chapters participated and which one sold the most tickets.
