Those lazy, crazy, hazy days of summer are upon us. Once again, it is time for parties, picnics, and family reunions. You will definitely want to try a few recipes from the popular “True No Measure Cookbook.” The book is available in 16-point large type, braille, DAISY file, and MS Word CD. The braille copy is one large volume for $25. All other formats are $12.50. To place your order, contact the PCB office at 877-617-7407 or pcb1@paonline.com.

The PCB calendar raffle is under way. Thank you to those who sold tickets and congratulations to the members who have won so far. To date we have sold 776 tickets. Starting July 1, tickets will be available for members to purchase at a discounted rate of $10.00 which is half price. The discounted tickets will not be included in the chapter profit share. The proceeds from sold tickets will go directly to PCB. Members who wish to request a ticket allotment, contact the PCB office.

The PCB Live Auction is back by popular demand. Is it your dream to outbid Rodger Simmons? How exciting would it be to walk away with enough wine to get you through the next five winters? Dreams do come true.

Attend the Live Auction on Friday evening, October 16 at 8:00 p.m. Arrive early and take the time to peruse the auction preview. Get a head start and know the item or items you wish to bid on before the auction begins. All prizes up for bid will be available for members to browse.

We need your help to collect prizes for this year’s auction. The 2015 solicitation letter to give to businesses can be downloaded from
pcb1.org/insidepcb/currentmembers/ or requested from the office. When submitting a prize, include the following information: the prize name, a brief description, and the value. Please note, we ask members to limit descriptions to only a few sentences. Please submit notification of all prizes to the fundraising team no later than October 9, 2015.

Submit prize information early. Take a peek below at a few prizes up for bid at this year’s PCB Live auction.
