By Sherri Crum, Team Leader
The Organizational Development Team had a busy 2016. A few of the larger tasks we worked on were:
• Working toward the written documentation of all procedures, policies, committee functions, job responsibilities etc. of PCB
• Developing a strategic plan and monitoring implementation
We’ve accumulated a lot of documents. However, there is still much work to be done.
I’ve heard from a few folks who may be considering joining our team. We would be happy if you would consider joining us as well.
You may wonder, “How could I be of use?” Well, have you been on any other teams or committees over the years? Do you know about PCB’s history? Do you, perhaps, have some PCB documents stored on your computer? Do you have ideas of how things could be improved, material you’ve created or topical information you’ve been searching for, for your chapter? In knowing about these things, we could use these types of ideas/suggestions/contributions to aid other chapters.
I’m looking forward to working with the new members of the Organizational Development Team in 2017, and I’d love to hear from anyone else who has material to share. If you have additional questions or need more information? Please get in touch. I can be reached by phone at 412-732-2769 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
