On behalf of the Conference Program and Planning Team, I thank all of you who attended this year’s PCB Conference and Convention at the Crowne Plaza in Harrisburg.
The team held its first planning call for this year’s Conference in January 2019. Actually, planning began during the summer of 2018 when we signed a contract for the meeting space. Through the year the team met monthly to discuss and decide on all aspects of the conference. If you have comments about the conference, you may send them to me or call me. My contact information is at the end of this article.
The team will meet by telephone in January 2020 to begin planning the 2020 conference. We welcome new thoughts from continuing team members and from new people. If you would like to be a part of the next planning team, please contact me before January 2020.
I am seeking a successor to my position as Conference Coordinator. The person would be my second in command in 2020 and then take over after the 2020 Conference. My decision to step aside is largely based on the realization that to be vibrant, the conference must have new direction from time to time. If any of you are interested in undertaking this role, please contact me.
